2.3 Current Measurement
1.
Set the function switch.
mA.A: For measuring voltages above 5100

If you are not sure of the voltage to be mea-
sured, set the function switch to "mA.A".

Use the
SHIFT
key to select either
DC, AC, or AC+DC.

To set manual range, press the
RANGE
key.
(Auto range is the normal setting.)

Connect the test leads to the test ter-
minals.

connect the red test lead to the

A.mA ter-
minal.
5.
Connect the test leads to the object
being tested.
6.
Read the value displayed in the
main display.
To display the frequency, press the
Hz
key
or the
DUAL
key.

When using the DCmA function, press the
DUAL
key three times to switch to the per-
centage conversion display (4-20mA/0-20
mA). This function can be used to check in-
dustrial meters.
