When disposing of this instrument, remove the lithium battery and dispose of bat-
tery and instrument in accordance with local regulations.
Required Items: One Phillips screwdriver and one pair of wire cutters
9.4
Disposing of the Logger
• To avoid electric shock, turn off the power switch and disconnect
the USB cable before removing the lithium battery.
• Battery may explode if mistreated. Do not short-circuit, recharge,
disassemble or dispose of in fire.
• Keep batteries away from children to prevent accidental swallowing.
How to Remove the Lithium Battery

Turn off the power (p.19), and then
remove the battery (p.15).

Remove the four screws, and then
remove the molded part.

Remove the two screws securing the top
board, and then remove the printed-circuit
board.

Pull up the lithium battery on the printed-
circuit board, and then cut the leads of the
plus and minus terminals with the wire
cutters.

Remove the battery from the board.
