10.1 Copying Data to a Computer (USB)

This section describes how to copy data from an SD memory card or the instru-
ment’s internal memory to a computer by connecting the instrument and computer
with the included USB cable.
When connecting the instrument with USB, there is no need to configure any instru-
ment settings.
10.1 Copying Data to a Computer (USB)
To avoid malfunctions, do not connect or disconnect the USB
cable while the instrument is operating.
• If the instrument and computer are both off and connected with
the USB cable, turn on the computer and then the instrument.
Powering up the devices in a different order may prevent the
instrument and computer from communicating.
• Copying large data files from the SD memory card to a computer
via the instrument’s USB interface can be time-consuming.
When you need to copy a large data file to a computer, it is rec-
ommended to use an SD memory card reader.
