If damage is suspected
If damage is suspected, check the "Before Having the Instrument
Repaired" (p. 193) section before contacting your authorized Hioki
distributor or reseller.
Calibrations
IMPORTANT
Periodic calibration is necessary in order to ensure that the instru-
ment provides correct measurement results of the specified accu-
racy.
The calibration frequency varies depending on the status of the
instrument or installation environment. We recommend that the
calibration frequency is determined in accordance with the status
of the instrument or installation environment and that you request
that calibration be performed periodically.
Precautions when transporting the instrument
• When sending the instrument for repair, remove the battery pack-
and SD memory card carefully to prevent damage in transit.
Include cushioning material so the instrument cannot move
within the package.
• Include a description of existing damage. We do not take any
responsibility for damage incurred during shipping.
Storage
To avoid problems with battery operation, remove the batteries
from the instrument if it is to be stored for a long time or more.
