When you turn on the instrument for the first time after purchase, the Language Set-
ting screen and Frequency Setting screen will be displayed. Configure the settings
as desired. Similarly, these settings must be configured if a factory reset is per-
formed to reset the instrument to its default settings.

Setting the Language and Measurement Line Frequency (50/60 Hz)
• The chinese display is available in version 2.00 (provisional) and
later.
• Once the display language and frequency have been set, these
setting screens will no longer be displayed when the instrument
is powered on. The settings can be changed at any time on the
Settings screen.

Turn on the power switch.
The Language Setting screen will be displayed.

Select the desired language with
the function keys.
The language will be set, and the Fre-
quency Setting screen will be displayed.

Select the desired measurement
line frequency with the function
keys.
The frequency will be set, and the
[MEAS, LIST]
screen will be displayed.
It will not be possible to perform accu-
rate measurement if the actual measure-
ment line frequency differs from the
frequency setting.

If you do not wish to perform measurement, turn off the power switch.
