IMPORTANT
When the fuel line is disconnected for maintenance
or repair, close both ends of the fuel line with a
piece of clean cloth or paper to prevent dust and
dirt from entering. Particular, care must be taken
not to admit dust and dirt into the fuel pump
entrance. Even a small amount of dust or dirt will
cause premature wear and malfunction of the fuel
pump and injector components.

Checking battery condition
DANGER
If a battery is stored in a diminished state of
charge it will become no effective and require a
new battery.
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury
Never remove the battery while the engine
is running.
Keep electrolyte away from eyes, hands
and clothes. If you are spattered with it,
wash it away completely with water
immediately and get medical attention.
Wear eye protection and rubber gloves
when working around the battery.

–installed battery is non-refillable
type if the battery is weak, charge the battery or
replace it with new one.

Battery charging
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury
When the battery is being activated,
hydrogen and oxygen gases in the battery
are extremely explosive. Keep open sparks
and flames away from the battery at all
times, especially when charging the battery.
When disconnecting the cable from the
battery start with the negative terminal first;
when connecting the cable to the battery
start with the positive terminal first.
Always check battery charge by using a
voltmeter.
