Draining the water before a move (or to prevent freezing)
If the machine freezes
Turn off the tap.
Turn on the power, press <<WASH>>
to select the [TUB CLEAN] program,
and then press <START> to start the
operation.
Run the operation for about 10 seconds,
press <PAUSE>, and then turn off the
power.

Running the operation removes the water
from inside the water supply hose.
Disconnect the water supply hose, and
keep it facing down.

Place a bucket or rag underneath the water
supply hose, as water may drip out.
Disconnect the water supply hose.
Pour about 5 L of warm water (about
40°C) into the drum, and let it sit for
about 10 minutes.
Connect the water supply hose, and turn
on the tap.
Turn on
Insert the drain hose into the drain outlet.
Turn on the power, press <SPIN> to set
spin only, press <START>, and run the
operation for about 30 seconds.

This will remove the water from the drum and
drain hose.
Press <PAUSE>, and then turn off the
power.
Turn on the power, press <START>, and
let the machine sit.
This will thaw the water supply valve.

The heat from the machine will thaw the
water supply valve, and water supply will start
(after about 20 minutes).
Verify the following:
(1) Check whether you can rotate the drum with
your hands.

(2) Turn on the power, press the <SPIN> button to
set spin only

If freezing is a concern when using the machine in a
cold environment, place a blanket, for example, on top
of the machine and cover the rear to keep the machine
warm.
