Opening and Closing the Door
(continued)
Opening the door during operation (continued)
During drying
z
When the
indicator is lit, the inside of the drum is very hot and the door cannot be opened until it cools
down.
The cooling operation starts when the
indicator blinks
([TUB COOLING] appears).
The door lock releases 1 to 15 minutes after the cooling operation starts.
Press <START> to restart operation.
z
If you pause and resume drying operation, the load size of laundry is re-measured, and the remaining time shown
in the indicator may increase. (When the elapsed time is 25 to 70 minutes after drying starts, the remaining time
fluctuates depending on the selected program and load size of laundry.)
z
When 15 minutes has elapsed after the door was unlocked, water is discharged to the drain outlet, and then the
power turns off automatically.
z
If you press the <PAUSE> button during Fluffy Clothes operation (i.e., while the drum is rotating), the door lock
releases and the power turns off.
z
If you restart after putting a large load of additional laundry, the laundry may not dry completely. In such cases,
dry the laundry again.
z
Do not touch the drum, the top right portion of the machine, or the laundry (zippers, metallic
buttons, etc.) during or after drying operations.
Doing so may result in burns.
Releasing the door lock
When the power is <OFF>
z

x
If the temperature inside the drum is high, the door lock will release after the cooling operation finishes.
