Dry filter
Clean the dry filter after every drying operation.
Lift the dry filter vertically.

If the filter is heavily clogged, wash it using water.

After washing the filter, dry it completely before reinserting it.

Remove lint and debris using the supplied cleaning brush, or wash
the filter by hand using water.

Return the dry filter to its original state, reinserting it
securely.

Reinsert the dry filter securely.
If it is not securely inserted, steam may leak out of the area surrounding the filter during drying operations,
resulting in louder operation noise.

If you continue operations while [DRY FILTER] is blinking, longer drying time and poor drying may result.

When cleaning the dry filter with water, do not use detergent or bleach.

Do not use the supplied cleaning brush for purposes other than cleaning the dry filter.
Do not let children use the cleaning brush.

Wipe off any lint or debris attached to the packing.

If [DRY FILTER] appears when you turn on the power after reinserting the dry filter, pressing the <START> button
will turn it off.
z
This indicator also appears after every 20 times the <<WASH DRY>> and <<DRY>> are operated. (It will appear
even if lint buildup is low.)

The dry filter is a consumable part. If the filter mesh breaks, contact Hitachi Customer Service Centre
for a replacement.
