Detergent case lid
Wipe the detergent case lid with a cloth, when detergent or softener is caked on the lid or the lid is
dirty.
Lift the detergent case lid handle to open the detergent

Wipe the packing on the detergent case lid with a cloth.

If detergent or dust is adhered to the packing, wipe it off.

Do not pull the packing forcibly. Doing so may deform, tear, or
damage the packing, eventually making the lid unable to close.
For heavy soil
Detach the detergent case lid from the case, when the
area of the case overlapped with the lid is very dirty, and
wipe the area with a cloth.
Slide the knob of the detergent case lid to the right
while holding the lid, and lift the lid from the side
with projection A.
Detach the lid by moving it to the left.
Reattach the detergent case lid in its original state.

Close the detergent case lid securely so that the lid handle
clicks into place.
z
If you operate the machine without attaching the detergent
case lid, water may spill out.

Wash the detergent case using water, when detergent or softener is caked on the case or the case
is dirty.
Lift the detergent case lid handle to open the detergent

Hold a partition of the detergent case, and lift the case
to remove it.
Remove the cap from the detergent case, and wash the
case in water.

Clean the areas where detergent adheres, such as the
detergent and softener inlets, cap, cap openings.

If the detergent is heavily caked, soak the detergent case in
hot water (40°C) for about 5 minutes, and use a toothbrush or
similar tool to clean the case.
z
If the detergent case is frozen, soak it in hot water (40°C).
Wipe the detergent case dry, and reattach it in its
original state.
z
Make sure that the detergent case and cap are attached
correctly.
