The
indicator
lights during spin
operations.
Are you running the [SOFT] program?
z
If so, the
indicator will light because the
heater is used during the spin operation.
This is not a malfunction.
Socks and
handkerchiefs get
caught between
the inside of the
door and the door
bellows during
operations.
Is the wash load large?
When washing larger loads, separate socks,
handkerchiefs, and smaller items into a
commercially available mesh laundry bag.
Place smaller items into the back of the drum first,
and then load the remaining laundry.
Use the optional washing cap.
(P. 104)
The power turns
off when spin
operations are
paused.
Was Tangle-Free Finish in progress?
This is not a malfunction.
When you pause during a Tangle-Free Finish
operation, the power turns off to end the
operation.
The Tangle-Free
Finish operation
does not occur
after spinning.
Did you disable the Tangle-Free Finish function?
For details on the Tangle-Free Finish setting, see
(P. 73)
.
z
The Tangle-Free Finish function will not operate
for operations that do not include the wash
cycle.
This is not a malfunction.
Is the wash load large?
z
The Tangle-Free Finish function may not
operate for large wash loads (6 k
g
or more).
This is not a malfunction.
The spinning
operation seems
insufficient (i.e.,
laundry is too wet).
Is the spin cycle set to a short running time?
Set the spin cycle to a longer running time.
(P. 59)
z
If this still is a concern, try the solution
described on the right.
Adjust the spin speed with the
<SPIN/DRY LEVEL> button.
(P. 69)
The <START>
button blinks when
the door is opened.
Is the <AUTO SELF CLEAN> 'DRY' operation
set?
z
Remove the laundry, close the door, and then
press the <START> button.
This is not a malfunction.
Drops of water
form on the inside
and bottom of
the door and the
door bellows after
operations.
z
These drops of water are due to the splashing
that occurs during the wash and spin
operations.
If this is a concern, wipe the water with a dry cloth.
Is the <AUTO SELF CLEAN> 'WASH' operation
set?
z
These drops of water are due to the
showering water that splashes during the
<AUTO SELF CLEAN> operation.
This is not a malfunction.
Laundry sticks
to the walls of
the drum after
operations.
Did you wash a lot of items made of cotton?
z
Although Tangle-Free Finish is performed at
the end of the [FUZZY] program’s spin cycle,
cotton items may not untangle sufficiently.
Use the [SOFT] program.
If the Tangle-Free Finish function is disabled,
enable it.
(P. 73)
Are you running the <<WASH DRY>> operation
for small loads of laundry?
z
The drying operation operates while the
laundry is stuck to the drum.
Increase the number of laundry items.
