Please ensure that the speakers are of the correct impedance and power rating before
attempting to connect to any of the audio sockets (please refer to
technical data
)
The external speakers supplied are used for connection with the speaker
terminals. Using the leads provided, connect one speaker to the REAR LEFT
and the other to the REAR RIGHT as detailed below..
Connect the BLACK lead to the BLACK sockets
Connect the STRIPED lead to the WHITE sockets.
Use one of these connections to connect
your TV to external equipment such as a DVD,
LaserDisc or Compact Disc player.

external speakers for which no amplifier is necessary
(You have two speakers supplied - cable connections

REAR RIGHT is for the right external speaker, and
REAR LEFT is for the left external speaker.

controlled via the main volume control and also the
Speaker Setup menu - see Speaker Setup in the

The plastic dust cap protecting the optical
digital in socket has to be removed before
connection with external equipment.
DO NOT THROW THE DUST COVER AWAY.
KEEP THE DUST COVER AWAY FROM
YOUNG CHILDREN.
This is used to protect the optical digital
connection from foreign bodies.
