• When using DVD-R disc, the recording quality
mode first used for recording on that disc is a
fixed mode: It cannot be changed on that disc.

MPEG audio layer 2 format, which is an optional for-
mat of DVD video standard. If you intend to finalize
a DVD-R disc and use it on a DVD player that is not
compatible with MPEG audio layer 2, record in the
LPCM mode on this DVD video camera/recorder.
