When programming the timer.
• Eight programs have already been
stored. Cancel unnecessary
program
and transfer the new programming.
When you turn power off after
programming the timer, or transfer
the programming with power off.
• A cassette has not been inserted
or a
cassette without safety tab has
been
inserted. A cassette without safety
tab
will be ejected automatically.
Insert a
cassette with safety tab intact.
When you press the play, record,
fast forward, rewind or super index
button.
• A cassette has not been inserted.
Insert a cassette.
When you press the record button
for recording or dubbing, or press
the (VIEW/SKIP/BLANK) button for
BLANK SEARCH.
• A cassette without a safety tab
has
been inserted. It will be ejected
automatically. Insert a cassette

When you turn power on.
• The video heads are dirty.
Cleaning
them is recommended. To switch
off
the CL display, clean the heads,
turn
the power off and press the
channel
button. The CL display
automatically switches off when
recording and playback are
performed for about 5 hours after
it
appears.
