Confirm the process GR4000 goes through until it starts to run.
GR4000 goes through the following process until it starts to run after it is powered on.
1.
After being powed on, GR4000 starts to show green-color blinking of BCU0 LED on its front panel as its startup
process.(Both BCU0 LED and BCU1 LED is blinking in green if a redundant BCU is used.)
2.
Software loading starts and MEMORY CARD 0 ACC LED of BCU0 is lit.
At this time, BCU0 LED is still blinking in green.
3.
Software loading is finished and BCU0 LED is lit in green.
(Both BCU0 LED and BCU1 LED is lit in green if a redundant BCU is used.)

Software installation
Software is pre-installed into a memory card at the time of shipment of GR4000.
When installing software, refer to the Installation Guide provided with the routing software OS-R.

Installation of option components
The option components such as a power supply unit, basic control unit, packet routing unit and network interface
board are pre-installed into a body of GR4000 at the time of its shipment.
Note that GBIC and SFP are also pre-installed into a network interface board in case that you purchased them. Regarding the
attachment/detachment of BGIC/SFP, see the GR4000 Hardware Installation Guide.
