5.4.2.1 Before inserting/extracting main memory
Be sure to shut down the OS, disconnect the power cord plug from the outlet, and
wait at least one minute before work.
Reserve the specified service clearance (see Subsection 1.2.2, “Installation
conditions”) and work in a flat place.
Wear cotton gloves before starting insertion/extraction work.
When tightening or loosening a screw, be careful not to crush the screw head. Use a
Phillips screwdriver of JIS No.2 suitable for the size and the type of the screw head.
When tightening a screw, be careful not to apply excessive force for preventing
destruction of the screw mountain. Tighten the screw straight into the screw hole.

Mounting Positions on HJ-2030.”
5.4.2.2 Inserting/extracting main memory
(1) Inserting main memory
(a) Unmounting the cover of the Equipment
Unmount the cover of the Equipment according to the procedure in “(1) (a)
Unmounting the cover of the Equipment” in Subsection 5.4.1.3, “Inserting/extracting
extended board on HJ-2035.” This procedure also applies to unmounting the cover
of the Equipment on HJ-2030.
(b) Inserting main memory
Fit the main memory board into the memory socket. Then, press down the memory
board straight into the memory socket. When the memory board is fully inserted,
you will hear a click.
