Blinking indicators on the control panel
Was your refrigerator just checked by service engineer?
The vacuum
compartment’s “On”
indicator is blinking.
The refrigerator might be running in maintenance mode. Maintenance mode will
turn off after about 15 minutes. This mode does not affect the refrigerator’ s
function.
Did you touch the
button for 5 seconds or more?
If you touched the “Ice Maker” button for 5 seconds or more, the refrigerator
might be in the process of cleaning the ice maker. The indicators should stop
blinking in about 4 minutes. Do not open the refrigerator doors while indicators
are still blinking.
All indicators
are blinking.
Are any of the doors open?
Is there any food or packaging caught in the doors?
If any doors are open, close them.
If anything is caught in the doors, remove it and then close the doors all the way.
Is there anything in the ice container other than ice
cubes made by the ice maker?
The ice maker’s “On”
indicator is blinking.

TROUBLESHOOTING
(continued)
Vegetable compartment
There is condensation
inside the vegetable
compartment.
Is the moisture-retention unit blocked (for example, by
food in containers or bags)?
If the moisture-retention unit is blocked, moisture is more likely to condense.
Move any item that is blocking the moisture-retention unit, and wipe away the
condensation with a dry dishcloth.
The vegetable
compartment doesn’t
close. When I open
the vegetable
compartment,
the upper container
won’t return to its
locking position.
Did you put a lot of vegetables high in water content in
the vegetable compartment?
The moisture level of the vegetable compartment is relatively high. As such,
depending on the amount and types of vegetables stored in the compartment,
moisture might condense on the surfaces of containers or on items stored in the
compartment. This does not indicate any problems in the refrigerator’ s function.
If you are concerned about moisture condensing on the surface of foods, wrap
foods in plastic wrap before storing them in this compartment. If a lot of moisture
condenses, water might accumulate in the vegetable compartment. If this
happens, wipe away the water with a dry dishcloth.
The control panel
display keeps
changing.
This means that the refrigerator is operating in the sales displaying mode.
Make the sales displaying mode off.
In order to prevent the refrigerator is cooled at operating in the sales displaying
mode. Open the doors of the refrigerator compartment and the lower freezer
compartment.Touch the and start it up.
Then touch the not less than 10 seconds until the beep sounds turns on
twice. Light the all indication lamps for some seconds to show that the sales
displaying mode is off.
The refrigerator starts to be cooled. Close the doors of refrigerator compartment
and freezer compartment.
Is there any food or packaging
caught between the upper and
lower containers?
Ensure nothing is caught between the containers.
Is any item (such as food or
bottled drinks) in contact with
the handle of the upper
container?
Store food and other items in such a way that they do not come in contact with
the handle.
Is there any food or packaging
caught between the upper
container ?
Ensure nothing is caught between the upper container and the
moisture-retention cover.
In addition, don’ t close the door of the refrigerator with the status that a food is
contacting the ceiling of the vegetable compartment.
