When this indicator lamp

(Lock on the panel for operation) is illuminated, any other button will not be actuated by pushing it.

This can prevent erroneous operation of the Control Panel or misuse by children.

When you want to stop the alarm

Push and hold the

[ eco OPERATION INDICATOR LAMP]/DOOR ALARM/LOCKING THE CONTROL PANEL

[“eco” Operation indicator lamp]

When the refrigerator is operated in a manner to reduce power consumption, such as Frost Recycle Cooling,
the indicator lamp is automatically lit to indicate that the refrigerator is operating in the energy saving mode.

When a door remains open for 30 seconds or more, alarm sounds as shown below and characters on the Control Panel are blinking to indicate that the door is open with sound and light.

The Door Alarm can be stopped.

When you want to sound the alarm again

Push and hold the

button

for three seconds with all the
doors closed until two beeps
sound.

When the setting has been
completed, the indicator
lamp is restored to the
original state.

[“eco” operation indicator lamp] can be turned off when you feel uneasy at night, etc.

How to turn off the
indicator lamp

Push and hold the

button

for three seconds with all the
doors closed until the [“eco”
Operation indicator lamp]
blinks.

The [“eco” Operation
indicator lamp] is unlit.

How to restore the setting

Push and hold the

button for

three seconds with all the doors
closed until the [“eco” Operation
indicator lamp] becomes lit.

The [“eco” Operation indicator lamp]
is lit for three seconds.
After that, the lamp is lit or unlit,
depending on the operation conditions.

If [“eco” Operation indicator lamp] isn’t illuminated, check the following things.

・

Is the [“eco” Operation indicator lamp] set as Off?

→

Perform the above-mentioned procedure for how to return.

・

Immediately after installation, when a lot of food is stored at a time, or when you open or close a door frequently, the

compressor operates at a high speed and this indicator lamp is not lit.

→

Open/close the door quickly or minimize

the number of opening/closing the door.

・

When the refrigerator is operated with

急冷凍

(Quick Freezing) ,

急冷藏

(Quick Cooling) or

急速製冰

(Quick Ice Making)

enabled,

→

It will be illuminated after the quick cooling functions fi nish and the operation of the refrigerator gets stable.

When connecting/disconnecting the power plug or after recovering from electric power failure, it will return to the setting

where the [“eco” Operation indicator lamp] is illuminated.

●

When the Door Alarm is disabled, characters on the Control Panel no longer blink and operation sound is no longer made, but alarm

indicating cleaning of the ice-making tray does sound.

●

The Door Alarm is enabled when shipped.

●

When connecting/disconnecting the power plug or after recovering from electric power failure, it will return to the setting where the

Door Alarm sounds.

※

From 30 seconds onwards, the Door Alarm sounds
only when the energy saving mode is set.

The Refrigerator Compartment, Ice Compartment and
Lower Freezer have the Door Alarm function (, but the
Upper Freezer and Vegetable Compartment doesn t).
