(1) During the defrost inhibit period, the product will be set as shown in the figure
below. Once the defrost is over, the product will set a new inhibit period based on
the external temperature at the time of compressor startup and, in the meantime,
will not accept defrost signals.
(2) If there is a big difference between the room temperature and the temperature
setting when the defrost comes to an end, the product can maintain its maximum
compressor speed (WMAX) or (WMAX2) for up to 120 minutes.
(3) The defrost period lasts up to DFMXTM (20 minutes).
(4) After the product stops running during defrost, it will switch to auto-fresh defrost.
(5) Auto-fresh defrost is not conducted within 15 minutes after operation startup or
within 15 minutes after the end of the defrost.
(6) The Super-LOW fan operation during reservation or during preheating after
defrost will be stopped at a heat exchanger temperature of 16
℃
or less.
Notes:
Setting a defrost inhibit period
Time
External
temperature
(1) The first inhibit time after operation startup is set to DFTIM_FST.
(2) For the second and subsequent times, the inhibit time is set according to
the time required for a reverse cycle.
If the reverse cycle operation time
≧
[DEFCOL], set DFTIM_COL.
If the reverse cycle operation time
<
[DEFCOL], set a time according to the
external temperature by referring to the above figure.
Notes:
(1) Pressing the "sleep key" will start the night operation.
(2) Setting the sleep key will limit the compressor's maximum speed to WSZMAX and the indoor unit to
"sleep LOW" (FCSOY).
(3) If operation modes are changed during sleep operation, the product will switch to the operation
mode from the time of the change onwards and start the sleep control.
(4) Changing the fan speed mode will not change the indoor unit speed ("sleep LOW").
(5) Entering defrost during a sleep operation will initiate the defrost and switch back to the sleep
operation at the end of the defrost.
(6) Stopping the product midway will retain the temperature setting which was effective at the time of
stoppage and continues to count the time.
(7) Changing the time setting midway will clear the temperature setting, time, and all other settings
and make a fresh start.
(8) Canceling with the cancel key and sleep key will clear everything.
(9) The temperature setting is not shifted with time elapsed.

Notes:
(1) Pressing the as-desired button will increase the setting by PWSFTW.
(2) The compressor's maximum speed during powerful operation will be canceled 60 minutes later.
The lower limit running speed is increased for 120 minutes after the product is set to powerful
operation, or 120 minutes after the thermometer is reset, or 120 minutes after the reset of the
defrost.
(3) The thermometer is forcibly turned on for 20 minutes after the powerful operation is reset.
(4) Defrost is inhibited for 20 minutes after the start of the powerful operation.
(5) Pressing the as-desired button during powerful operation will cancel the powerful operation.
(6) If the sleep timer is set during powerful operation, the powerful operation will be canceled.
(7) If the fan speed of the remote control is set to AUTO or "HI", the compressor's
maximum speed during powerful operation will be set to WMAX2 and the lower limit speed
WKYMIN_PW.
(8) If the fan speed of the remote control is set to "MED", the compressor's maximum
speed during powerful operation will be WJKMAX_PW and the lower limit speed WJKMIN_PW.
(9) If the fan speed of the remote control is set to "LOW", the compressor's maximum
speed during powerful operation will be set to WBEMAX_PW. The lower limit speed is
WBEMIN_PW.
(10) If the fan speed of the remote control is set to "SILENT", the compressor's maximum speed
during powerful operation will be WSZMAX_PW. The lower limit speed is WSZMIN_PW.
