8.3 Starting the system
8.3.1 Starting tools
The following explains how to start the tools installed on the PADT.
8.3.1.1 Starting BASE SYSTEM
To start the installed BASE SYSTEM, you use the Windows®
Start
menu.
Suppose you intend to create or delete a project that uses C mode (RPDP) or use the CPMS update function
in a project. In this case, you need to log on as an administrator with RPDP installed and start BASE
SYSTEM normally, or log on as a user who belongs to the
RPDPusers
group and use temporary
administrator privileges to start BASE SYSTEM.
To open a project that uses C mode, you need to start BASE SYSTEM normally on a system with RPDP
installed as the administrator or a user belonging to the
RPDPusers
group.
(1) Starting BASE SYSTEM normally
To start BASE SYSTEM in Windows® 7, from the
Start
menu, select
All Programs
,
Hitachi
S10VE
,
BASE SYSTEM
, and then
S10VEBASE
.
In Windows® 10, from the
Start
menu, select
Hitachi S10VE
and then
S10VEBASE
.
BASE SYSTEM starts (Figure 8-10).
