Things to Keep in Mind
•
When removing a plug from a socket, never bend or twist the power cord.
•
Never place heavy objects on a power cord. Doing so could result in damage.
•
To avoid damaging the power cord, always grasp the plug directly when unplugging the
power cord.
•
To obtain suitable power cord replacements, contact your Hitachi Customer Service or an
authorized Support Representative.
WARNING:
The power cord for this product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of
California to cause cancer, and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

AC Adapter Guidelines
Using any power source other than the Hitachi Data Systems AC adapter or power cord that comes
with your product could result in exposure to electric shock hazards.

Always use a surge protector to protect your product from possible damage caused by a
power surge.
