• To exit Time Search mode, press the MENU button on the remote control after step 2. Or
press the STOP button after step 3.
• A video cassette must be inserted in the VCR for this function to work.
BLANK SEARCH
This function enables you to search for the unrecorded portion of the tape in the forward
direction.
• Tape must be fully rewound.
1 Select "SEARCH SELECT"
Press MENU button on the remote control repeatedly so that the SEARCH SELECT menu
appears.
2 Select "BLANK SEARCH"
Press
/PLAY or
/STOP button repeatedly to point to "BLANK SEARCH".
Then, press F.FWD/ button.
• The VCR begins fast forwarding to the beginning of the blank part of the tape.
3 After Blank Search
The VCR will automatically stop.
NOTES:
• The blank search will only work in the forward direction not in the reverse direction.
• A video cassette must be inserted in the VCR for this function to work.
RECORDING
Make sure....
· VCR power must be turned on.
· Turn on the TV and set the TV channel to the same video output channel as located on the
back of the VCR. (CH 3 or 4)
• Press VCR/TV button on the remote control so that the "VCR" indicator appears on the
display.
· Insert a cassette tape with its erase prevention tab in place. (If necessary, rewind or fast
forward the tape to the point at which you want to begin recording.)
VIEWING AND RECORDING THE SAME PROGRAM
1 Select the channel to be recorded
Press the number buttons on the remote control or the CHANNEL (CH)
or
button.
NOTE:
When you record with a cable converter box, the VCR channel must be selected to 3 or
4, then the actual channel that you wish to record must be selected on the cable converter box.
2 Select the tape speed
Press the TAPE SPEED button on the remote control to select the desired tape speed
(SP/LP/SLP).
