Equipment of Head Guard, ROPS, FOPS
If the machine is operated in areas where the possibility
of falling stones or debris, equip a head guard, ROPS, or
FOPS according to the potential hazardous conditions. (The
standard cab for this machine corresponds to ROPS and FOPS.)
Any modification of the ROPS structure will modify its
performance and its certification will be lost.
ROPS: Roll-Over Protective Structure
FOPS: Falling Object Protective Structure
Provide Signals for Jobs Involving Multiple
Machines
For jobs involving multiple machines, provide signals
commonly known by all personnel involved. Also, appoint
a signal person to coordinate the job site. Make sure that all
personnel obey the signal person’s directions.
