Change DEF/AdBlue®

CAUTION: Wear safety equipment such as safety
glasses or goggles, rubber gloves appropriate to
the job. Wash DEF/AdBlue® with clean water when it
contacts with the skin. If DEF/AdBlue® is accidentally
splashed into eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes or
longer and get emergency medical attention.
IMPORTANT: When contaminated or deteriorated DEF/
AdBlue® is used, malfunction may result. Change DEF/
AdBlue® periodically to keep cleanliness in the tank.
1. Remove bolts (1) and washers and remove cover (2).
2. Place a 50 liter or larger capacity container under drain
plug (3).
3. Slowly loosen drain plug (3) to drain DEF/AdBlue®.
4. Tighten drain plug (3) after draining DEF/AdBlue®.
Wrench size: 6 mm
Tightening torque: 5 to 7 N·m (0.5 to 0.7 kgf·m)
5. Fix cover (2) with bolts (1) and washers.
6. Remove cap from DEF/AdBlue® tank and refill DEF/
AdBlue®.
DEF/AdBlue® tank capacity: 35 L
