5.2 HM-GU00G
5.2.1 Installation on Windows 7 or later (32 bit)
(1) Before connecting HM-GU00G to the PC USB port, turn ON the PC to start Windows.
(2) Start CD drive:\x86\dpinst.exe.
(3) When "dpinst.exe" is started, click [Next] to proceed.
(4) After completing the installer and with HM-GU00G turned OFF, connect the USB connector to the PC
USB connector.
(5) Turn ON the power of HM-GU00G.
(6) Installation of the device is executed automatically.
5.2.2 Installation on Windows 7 or later (64 bit)
(1) Before connecting HM-GU00G to the PC USB port, turn ON the PC to start Windows.
(2) Start CD drive:\x64\dpinst.exe.
(3) When "dpinst.exe" is started, click [Next] to proceed.
(4) After completing the installer and with HM-GU00G turned OFF, connect the USB connector to the PC
USB connector.
(5) Turn ON the power of HM-GU00G.
(6) Installation of the device is executed automatically.
5.2.3 Installation on Windows XP
(1) Before connecting HM-GU00G to the PC USB port, turn ON the PC to start Windows.
(2) Start CD drive:\x86\dpinst.exe.
(3) When "dpinst.exe" is started, click [Next] to proceed.
(4) After completing the installer and with HM-GU00G turned OFF, connect the USB connector to the PC
USB connector.
(5) Turn ON the power of HM-GU00G.
(6) The system detects HM-GU00G and automatically displays a screen for installing the necessary device
driver.
(7) Select [Install the software automatically (Recommended)].
(8) Follow the directions given by the system to complete the installation.
5.2.4 Uninstallation
(1) On the Windows start menu, select "Setting"
→
"Control Panel"
→
"Add or Remove Programs".
(2) Select Windows driver package - Hivertec HM-GU00G(zzz) (mm/dd/yy yy x.x.x.x), and start uninstalling
by selecting "Change/Remove". (zzz: "x64" with 64 bit, "x86" with 32 bit, and mm/dd/yy yy x.x.x.x
indicates the version.)
