Storage
After the season’s use or when the snow blade will not be used for a period of time, completely inspect all parts of the SB
series snow blade. Replace or repair any worn or damaged components to prevent any unnecessary down time at the
beginning of the next season.
Your snow blade is an important investment. Spending some time to protect it from rust and corrosion will result a safer,
longer service life and better performance.
Placing in Storage:
1. Thoroughly wash the snow blade with a pressure washer or water hose to remove all salt, dirt, mud or debris.
2. Remove any remaining material and debris from the snow blade.
3. Perform a maintenance, lubricate and grease the unit in preparation for the next season
4. Inspect for damaged or worn parts. Repair or replace before next season.
5. Replace any missing or unreadable safety decals.
6. Repaint any chipped or scraped areas to prevent rust and corrosion.
7.
It is best to store the snow blade inside in a dry clean area, off of the ground or floor on blocks or a skid.
8.
Outside storage, cover with a waterproof tarpaulin and tie down securely off of the ground or floor on blocks or a skid.
