Important notes about operation / exclusion of liability
Please read carefully this manual before activating the lock. We assume no liability, neither for malfunctions caused by
faulty changing, use of force or improper handling, nor in case of property or pecuniary damages due to inappropriate
locking of the safe.
Keep the emergency key in a safe place, do not put them into the safe!
2. Commissioning / emergency opening
2.1
For the first opening or emergency opening, use the attached emergency key. Please remove the cover over the
cylinder lock with a screw driver (Figure 2). Insert the emergency key into the lock and turn it clockwise.
2.2 While you keep turning the key to the right, push the handle downwards and pull the safe door open.
2.3 Now insert four AA batteries into the battery compartment (Figure 3) on the inside of the door (please observe the
correct polarity).
3. Opening the safe with a numerical lock
3.1 Turn the dial lock clockwise three times.
3.2
At the last rotation, turn until the first number is exactly under the red mark on the number lock.
3.3 Now turn an entire round counter-clockwise and at the second rotation until the second number is exactly under
the red mark on the number lock.
3.4 For the last number, turn clockwise until the third number is exactly under the red mark on the number lock For
the last number, turn clockwise until the third number is exactly under the red mark on the number lock.
ACHTUNG!
Please turn slowly. All numbers must exactly hit the mark on the combination lock. If you pass a number,
you can not go back. Please start the entire process from the beginning. You will find the number code with which you
can open the safe, on the first page of the manual. This code cannot be changed. Keep this code in a safe place.
In this example, the combination code is used to open the safe: 70-50-30.
4. Storing the personal PIN code
4.1 Open the safe and press the reset-button on the inside of the door (Figure 3).
4.2
Now start entering your personal code (3 - 8 digits) as soon as the yellow LED lights up. Confirm the entry with “A”
oder “B” (Figure 4). The yellow LED goes out.
4.3
Before closing the safe, please enter the desired PIN code again and confirm with “A” or “B”. The green LED lights
up. The storage of the new PIN code was successful.
4.4 If the yellow LED flashes and five beeps follow, the new code has not been saved successful.
Please repeat the procedure.
5. Storing the second personal PIN code
5.1 Open the safe and enter “00” followed by pressing the reset-button on the inside of the door (Figure 3).
5.2 Now repeat steps 4.2 to 4.4.
