Brake discs and brake callipers can become extremely hot under braking,
in parti cular following long descents.
-> Do not touch the brake system with your hands aft er heavy braking.
You could suff er burns.
Both brake levers feature a turning lever which can be used to block the
respecti ve brake.
For locking:
•
Pull the brake lever towards the
handlebar.
•
At the same ti me, push the rotary switch
towards the end of the handlebar unti l
the brake blocks.
To release the brake locking:
•
Pull the brake lever towards the
handlebar
•
At the same ti me, push the rotary switch
towards the stem unti l the brake lever
retracts
The brake system compensates wear of the brake pads automati cally and ensures
a constant pressure point for the brake.

Frame lock on rear wheel
The CD1 Cargo can be secured quickly and easily with the integrated frame lock.
The keys for frame lock and batt ery lock are the same.
To lock:
•
Insert the key and turn in a clockwise
directi on. Hold in this positi on.
•
Push the half-ring into the spokes with the
other hand using the lever on the lock.
•
Release the key and remove.
