Liability for defects
In most European countries a 24-month warranty is stipulated by law, beginning on
the day of purchase.
The original invoice must be submitted for the defect liability claim.
You are entitled to the warranty under the following conditions:
•
There is a manufacturing defect, material defect or information error.
•
The damage referred to in the complaint was already present at the time
of delivery.
•
The product was not altered due to function-related wear or ageing.
•
The damage was not caused by violation of the intended use.
•
Battery: this exhibits a residual capacity of less than 60% of the nominal
capacity within two years (from the date of purchase) and a maximum
500 load cycles.
a charge cycle is complete charging of the battery with a single charge or
several partial charges (e.g. two half charges).
The warranty does not include:
•
All wear parts according to the list of wear parts, unless they are
production or material defects
•
Damage caused by improper use
•
Damage caused by failure to observe the procedures described in the
"Maintenance" section
•
Damage caused by improper repair tools and insufficient care
•
Damage caused by the use of used parts
•
Damage caused by subsequent mounting of non-standard equipment and
technical modifications
