To change the saddle height, proceed as follows:
•
Conti nue to loosen the seatpost
clamping screw with an Allen key unti l it
is possible to adjust the saddle height.
•
Then ti ghten the screw with a torque of
5-7 Nm using the Allen key.
The seatpost clamping screw is ti ghtened suffi ciently when the seatpost
can not be turned or when it no longer slides down into the seat tube
under your weight.
If you pull the seatpost out too far, the
upper part of the seat tube may sustain
damage which could lead to breakage.
There is a risk of accident or injury!
-> Pull out the seatpost unti l the
marking for minimum inserti on depth
is only just visible.
2.2.
Adjusti ng handlebar height
The CD1 Cargo is equipped with a stem adjustable in height. In the delivery
conditi on, the stem is screwed into its lowermost positi on (-20°).
The height of the stem can be increased by up to 11.5 cm by adjusti ng the angle of
the stem (max. angle 60°).
To adjust the height of the stem, proceed as follows:
•
Conti nue to loosen both screws marked
in red unti l it is possible to turn the stem.
•
Set the desired angle and note the
diff erence in angle.
•
Tighten the screws marked in red once
again with 14-15 Nm.
In the second step, the handlebar must also be turned around this diff erence in
angle in the opposite directi on, indicated by the right-hand semicircular arrow:
