Two Or Three Groove Drive Roll
.
Unit comes with one drive roll. Drive roll
included will vary by manufacture date.
Two Groove drive rolls have two different
size grooves. When installed, the groove
size that can be read on the face of the drive
roll is the size of the groove that is lined up for
use.
Three Groove drive rolls have three different
size grooves. The text aligned with the drive
roll retaining pin indicates the selected
groove.
.
VK (Knurled) groove is used for flux
cored wire and V groove is used for solid
wire.

Retaining Pin
To secure drive roll, locate open slot and
push drive roll completely over retaining pin,
then rotate drive roll (1/4 turn) to closed slot.

Drive Roll Tension Knob
Using flux core wire with VK groove, tension
