Install (1) Fan hub assembly onto the
crankshaft.
Install (1) Upper Fan Hub Tapered
Collet onto the crankshaft.
Install the prop-nut that was provided
with the engine a nd check for run-out.
Note:
The run-out should be no more
than .002-.004. This should be
checked with a dial indicator. There
are many techniques to get the fan
hub and associated components with
in the allotted tolerance. The most
popular is to loosen the prop-nut and
collets, fan hub, and clutch.
