Click Options > TX > SDR TX Support, then click ‘Yes’ on the ‘are you sure?’ window.
This will open the Sound Card Selection window:
Depending on how many sound devices are present in your computer the numbers associated with a particular device might be different. Do not
make selections based on the numbers, make selections based on the name.
• For RX Input (from Radio) select Microphone (USB Audio
Device), which is the StarTech Microphone input.
• For TX Input (from Microphone) select Microphone (USB PnP
Audio Device) which is the Pyle USB Microphone.
• For RX Output (to Speaker) select Speakers (USB 2.0 Device)
which is the Adafruit USB speaker.
• For TX Output (to Radio) select Speakers (USB Audio Device)
which is the StarTech Headphone output.
If any of your sound devices are disconnected and plugged into a different USB port you will have to select
in HDSDR and repeat this
procedure. You will also have to go to Windows Recording Devices and Windows Playback Devices to make sure the StarTech is not set to default
and the levels and sampling rates are correct.
