FIRE

 

CONDITION:

   

During

 

a

 

Fire

 

condition

 

the

 

Fire

 

LEDs

 

will

 

pulse

 

on

off

the

 

panel

 

face,

 

the

 

local

 

buzzer

 

will

 

sound,

 

and

 

the

 

bells/horns/strobes

 

will

 

be

 

activated.

  

The

 

location

 

text

 

of

 

the

 

alarm

 

point

 

as

 

programmed

 

into

 

the

 

fire

 

alarm

 

control

 

panel

 

will

 

be

 

displayed

 

on

 

the

 

LCD

 

display.

  

Additional

 

fire

 

events

 

can

 

be

 

viewed

 

by

 

pressing

 

the

 

More

 

Fire

 

Events”

 

button

 

and

 

using

 

the

 

Up/Down

 

Arrows

 

to

 

scroll

 

through

 

the

 

list.

  

Note

 

that

 

the

 

front

 

door

 

of

 

the

 

control

 

panel

 

must

 

be

 

opened

 

to

 

access

 

these

 

controls.

  

To

 

silence

 

the

 

bells/horns,

 

enter

 

Access

 

Level

by

 

opening

 

the

 

front

 

door

 

of

 

the

 

enclosure

 

and

 

then

 

press

 

the

 

“Alarm

 

Silence”

 

button.

  

The

 

Fire

 

LEDs

 

will

 

be

 

lit

 

continuously,

the

 

bells/horns

 

will

 

turn

 

off.

  

To

 

turn

 

the

 

bells/horns

 

back

 

on

 

again

 

press

 

the

 

“Resound

 

Alarm”

 

button.

  

The

 

“Reset”

 

button

 

will

 

turn

 

off

 

the

 

bells/horns/strobes

 

and

 

return

 

the

 

fire

 

control

 

panel

 

to

 

a

 

normal

 

standby

 

condition.

 

 

TROUBLE

 

CONDITION:

 

During

 

a

 

trouble

 

condition

 

the

 

local

 

buzzer

 

will

 

sound,

 

the

 

“General

 

Trouble”

 

LED

 

will

 

flash,

 

a

 

specific

 

trouble

 

LED

 

may

 

illuminate,

 

and

 

a

 

trouble

 

message

 

will

 

be

 

displayed

 

on

 

the

 

LCD

 

display.

  

If

 

more

 

than

 

one

 

trouble

 

condition

 

occurs

 

at

 

the

 

same

 

time

 

the

 

“More

 

Events”

 

LED

 

will

Before

 

proceeding

notify

 

the

 

appropriate

 

parties

 

and/or

 

authorities

 

when

 

servicing

 

or

 

placing

 

the

 

fire

 

alarm

 

system

 

off

line.

  

To

 

replace

 

the

 

in

line

 

battery

 

fuse,

 

twist

 

the

 

bayonet

 

fuse

 

holder

 

on

 

the

 

negative

 

battery

 

lead.

  

Remove

 

the

 

blown

 

fuse

 

and

 

replace

 

with

 

a

 

“Bussman

 

AGC

10”

 

type

 

fuse

 

or

 

equivalent.

  

To

 

replace

 

the

 

power

 

supply

 

fuse

 

F2,

 

power

 

down

 

the

 

fire

 

system

 

by

 

removing

 

the

 

AC

 

power

 

first,

 

then

 

disconnect

 

the

 

backup

 

batteries

 

to

 

the

 

fire

 

alarm

 

control

 

panel.

  

Remove

blown

 

fuse

replace

a

Replace

battery

 

lead

 

when

 

finished.

  

If

measure

recommended

 

specifications,

 

replace

removing

 

positive

lead,

 

negative

jumper

Replace

connect

reverse
