e) Basket installation
The basket is suitable for cooking small amounts of food, such as rice, fish,
and meat.
1. Install the blade in the bowl – see
7.5 Assembly/disassembly, subparagraph
b) Blade installation.
2. Add water to the cooking container.
Caution!
The maximum amount of water in the bowl should be 800 ml, it
should not touch the basket bottom!
3. Place the basket in the bowl, and add the food to be cooked.
4. Install the bowl lid. Make sure it is placed correctly and locked – twist as far as
it goes.
5. Place the measuring cup on the bowl lid.
Caution!
Risk of scalding with hot steam and hot condensed water. Hot steam
and hot condensed water are dangerous. Exercise utmost care.
Caution!
Do not touch the blending container’s metal part during operation
and immediately after use, wait for it to cool down. If necessary, only grab and
hold by the handles.
6. When steam cooking using the basket, the water level must not touch the basket
bottom.
7. When cooking using the basket, e.g. for rice, the water level should be around
one cm above the basket’s contents.
8. To remove the basket, use the hook on the spatula tip. Grab the basket handle
with one hand and catch the hook eye with the hook using the other hand.
