DEHUMIDIFIER
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Air filter cleaning
•
The air filter should be cleaned regularly. This filter is located behind
the air inlet grid (D).
Note:
For daily use, the filter should be cleaned once a week.
•
To remove the filter, remove the grid (D) by pressing and pulling it out
(Fig. 8) and detach the filter from the grid (D) (Fig. 9).
•
Clean the filter using the a vacuum cleaner. If the filter is unusually
dirty, wash it with tap warn water and a mild detergent (Fig. 10) and dry
it thoroughly before re-assemble it back into the appliance.
Note:
Do not use the dehumidifier without the filter. Otherwise the
evaporator will get dusty and this may affect the performance of the
appliance.
Note:
Do not dry the filter near open flames or an electric dryer.
Otherwise, the filter may lose its shape or catch fire.
•
Re-assemble the filter to the grid (D) (Fig. 8) and fit the filter and grid
(D) back to the appliance body (Fig. 11).
Drainage tank cleaning
•
If the drainage tank (G) is dirty, wash it only with cold or slightly warm
water.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning detergents, scouring pads, alcohol or
solvents as they may scratch and damage the tank and cause water
to leak.
