8. USING THE PRODUCT
CAUTION!
The appliance may emit smoke or steam during the first use. This is normal and means
that the internal parts are heated for the first time. Place the appliance on a firm, solid
and flat heat-resistant surface before use.
•
Plug the power cord appliance to a properly installed and electrically grounded
mains outlet (rated at 220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz).
•
Turn the control dial to set the desired toasting level. You can choose any setting
from the lightest brown level 1 to the deepest brown level 7. If you are unsure what
browning level to choose, use the lowest setting. Regular toast bread slices are
perfectly golden-brown at levels 4 and 5.
•
Place one toast bread slice in the toasting slot and depress the loading lever until it
latches in place.
•
The toaster starts and stops toasting automatically. When the toasting is done, the
slices automatically pop out from the toasting slots and are ready to serve.
•
Remove the breadcrumbs from time to time by sliding out the tray at the
toaster bottom.
•
When done toasting, leave the toaster to cool down.
CAUTION!
You can always stop toasting by pressing the Cancel button.
