if on the hair removal area there are any abnormalities such as
brown or black marks, large freckles, birthmarks or warts. Wait for the damaged
area to heal before using the IPL device.
• DO NOT USE
if you have medical or family history of light hypersensitivity (e.g.
porphyria, polymorphous light eruption, solar urticaria, lupus etc.) or you have
light hypersensitivity caused by drugs, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory
drugs (e.g. Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Paracetamol), tetracycline, phenothiazine,
thiazide, diuretics, sulphonylurea, sulfonamides, DTIC, fluorouracil, vinblastine,
griseofulvin, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), Retin-A R,
Accutane R or retinoids for topical use.
• DO NOT USE
if you were recently treated with alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta
hydroxy acids (BHAs), Retin-A R, topically administered retinoids or azelaic acid.
• DO NOT USE
if you have eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds or developing
infections in the treated area.
• DO NOT USE
if you have a different skin condition caused by, for example,
diabetes or other systemic or metabolic disease.
• DO NOT USE
if you were treated with Accutane R (Isotretinoin) in the last 6
months.
• DO NOT USE
if you underwent a steroid treatment in the last 3 months.
• DO NOT USE
if there are signs of a herpes outbreak before the procedure in the
treatment area, unless a doctor has been consulted or preventive treatment has
been administered prior to using the IPL hair removal system.

if you have epilepsy.
