29. Choosing the wrong intensity can cause side effects.

31. Do not use the IPL device on the same skin area more than once per session.
Avoid using pulsed light on the same area of your skin. Should any burns or
blisters appear, DISCONTINUE THE TREATMENT AND CONTACT YOUR
DOCTOR!
32. For medical reasons, moles should not be irritated by any kind of light.
33. Exposure to the sun and UV rays before and after IPL treatment with the device:
a) „Exposure to the sun” means continuous exposure to direct sunlight without
protection for about fifteen minutes or continuous exposure to direct sunlight
with protection for one hour;
b) Avoid exposure to the sun for 4 weeks before the hair removal treatment,
then for 2 weeks after.
c) Adequate protection, such as clothing that provides sufficient cover or sun
protection (with a protection factor of more than 50). It should be used regularly
for three weeks before and after the procedure.
d) Warning: It is important to follow the recommendations in this user manual.
34. After applying self-tanning cream on the skin, wait until the tanning effect
disappears completely before using the device.
35. Before using the device, always shave the treated skin and make sure that it is
clean.

Do not look directly at the light emitted by the device.
37. DO NOT USE the IPL device more often than once per week for the same part
of the body. More frequent use in one place will not produce the desired effects
any faster, but can increase the likelihood of skin damage.
38. Warning! Do not use the IPL hair removal system on the scalp, eyebrows, chin,
around the eyes, ears, nose, nipples, genitals, anus, as well as in areas with
various marks, freckles, moles, warts, bruises, rashes etc.
39. Never use the device on nipples or genitals.
40. Never use the device on any part of the body from which permanent hair removal
is undesirable.
41. Never point the contact sensor of the IPL device so that it emits pulsed light into
open space.
