3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The device may be operated by children over 8 years of age and
persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or persons without experience or necessary knowledge of the
product, provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe
use of the device and understand the hazards involved.
2. Children must not play with the device.
3. Cleaning and maintenance may not be performed by children
unless they are supervised by an adult. Keep the device and its
power cord beyond the reach of children under 8 years of age.
4. Please read this manual in whole before using the product.
5. The device is intended for private household use only. Do not
use the device for any purpose other than its intended use.
6. In order to prevent fire or electric shock when using electrical
devices, in particular in the presence of children, follow basic
safety rules.
7. The device is not intended for soft or textured fabrics.
8. Prior to use with a particular fabric, test the device on a hidden
surface of the fabric.
9. When removing pilling, lint or fuzz balls, place the garment on a
flat and stable surface.
10. Never use the device on creases or corners of a garment.
11. Do not use any caustic agents for cleaning the device.
12. Protect the device from penetration by water or other liquids.
13. The device is not a toy.
14. When not in use or prior to cleaning, always unplug the device
from the power adapter.
15. Do not bend or deform the perforated cover over the blades.
16. Be very careful when removing the blades.
