Using the accessories
Cutting blade / mixing attachment
The cutting blade is the most universal accessory. Adjust the processing time to get the
desired consistency.
Use the pulse mode if you want to retain larger pieces.
The cutting blade is suitable for kneading dough and confectionery products, chopping raw
and cooked meat, vegetables, nuts, pastes, sauces, and cream soups, as well as making
breadcrumbs and breaking up sponge biscuits. It can also be used for mixing yeast dough
when combined with the mixing attachment.
Guidelines – cutting blade
Before processing food products such as meat, bread or vegetables, cut them into 1-inch cubes.
Sponge cakes should be broken into pieces and added while the appliance is running.
For confectionery products, use refrigerated fat that has been cut into 1-inch cubes.
Mixing attachment – making a smooth dough
1.
Put all the dry ingredients in the bowl, and then add the liquid through the hole while
the appliance is running.
Mix until you get a smooth, flexible dough; this takes 30 seconds.
2.
Knead again, by hand only. It is not recommended to knead the dough in the bowl, as
this may lead to unstable operation of the processor.
Cutting and grating disc – reversible discs for thick slices / shredding
1.
Using the shredding side – cheese, carrots, potatoes and other foot products of similar
consistency.
2.
Using the slicing side – cheese, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, cucumbers, courgettes,
beets and onions.
Suitable for cutting potatoes into julienne slices; hard salad ingredients, accompaniments,
gratins and stir fried foods (e.g. carrots, swede, courgettes, and cucumber).
Safety
Never remove the lid until the disc has come to a complete halt.
Handle the disc with care – it is extremely sharp.
Using the disc
1.
Install the adapter shaft, bowl and adapter shaft attachment according to the
instructions above.
2.
Hold the disc (d) in the centre, turn it the right side up and place it on the adapter shaft
attachment (e).
