8.0 Data Log

Figure 22

Setup

 – Configures the internal ECU data logger (

Figure 23

).  See the help instructions within the touch screen or PC software on

proper configuration.   It is advised to use slower sampling rates unless needed to minimize file sizes and reduce download times (for

basic logging, 5-10 samples per second is adequate.  For troubleshooting, 50-100 is needed at times).

Figure 23

Download

 – Brings up all of the files in the internal ECU data logger (

Figure 24

).  They can then be downloaded one at a time.  Select

one file, and then click the Download button.  Delete will select a single file and Delete All will delete all the files.  Note: Performing a

“Delete All” may take a few minutes, so give the system time to complete.

Datalog File Naming Convention:

A datalog taken by the TSLCD is an 8 character file name – MMDDHHMM.   MM = Month, DD =

Day, HH = Hour, MM = Minute.  A log taken in the same minute as a previous will overwrite the previous log.

 – Manually starts an internal data log.

Stop Log

 – Manually stops an internal data log.
