10 Error messages (extract)
The CHIP CARD TERMINAL shows by maloperation error mes
-
sages on the display:
E05 Appears only when DIP switch 2 is switched off
and the type 20 programming card is inserted Read
therefor the special operating instruction, which is in-
cluded by programming card type 20.
E14 The deleting and programming of the amounts is not pos-
sible with this chip card.
E21 DIP switch no. 2 (T20FREE) adjust on "off".
E28 Chip card is shorted or electrical short in the contact unit or
electronic. Maybe error message E53 applies.
E37 This function is deactivated or locked, see configuration
menu.
E50 The try of writing on chip card is failed. Maybe loss of cash,
in extreme case destruction of the card account!
Possible reason: card was extracted too soon.
E51 Wrong card type. This card will be never adopted, or the
desired manipulation is not possible with this card.
E52 Wrong card type. This chip card is maybe from other chip
card system, the H-numbers are incorrect. The chip card is
unpersonalised.
E53 Chip card read error. The chip card is potentially defect, or
the card will be extracted to soon, inserted false or alien to
the system! In exceptional cases can be apply error de-
scription E28. This card type is blocked.
E54 Error by writing on the card. The chip card is potentially
dirty or defect, or the card will be extracted to soon. In this
case insert the card again, thereby the destroyed card
value from the chip card can be restored!
E57 Chip card will be extracted to soon. Insert again, thereby
the saving on chip card can be finished, otherwise the card
is deleted or destroyed!
E58 Chip card value destroyed. Is the chip card extracted to
soon by other device? In this case the card must be inser-
ted in this device for restoration!
E59 Card type number destroyed! Chip card is unusable!
The card contacts are be shorted! Chip card is unperso-
nalised!
E60 Card value is higher than card maximum value (= basis
value) or card value is negative!
E66 Chip card run counter is expired. This counter confined the
numbers of card uses!
E67 Chip card revalue counter expired. Chip card can be not
devaluated.
E68 One-way chip card, revaluation is not allowed!
E71 Card value can´t be increased, because the maximum
value (= basis value) will be exceeded!
E78 Revaluation is not possible, because the revaluation value
is too high. It will be exceeded the basis value or the maxi-
mum value of the chip card!
E129 The currency from the chip card and from the chip card
device do not agree! Concerns the Conversion to EURO:
the chip card and the device must be adjusted to EURO, or
both must be adjusted to another currency!
E136 The chip card device is not authorized, to access to the chip
card. The theft protection are unfulfilled! (Writing is locked,
reading is maybe possible).
E147 Devaluation amount is too big, the credit of the card is not
enough for payment.
E200 Data error in the "General programming menu". Read the
menu completely and check all amounts!
E201 Data error in the "Configuration menu". Read the menu
completely and check all amounts!
E210 Revaluation is not activated (per card type 71...73)
E232 The conditions for this function were unfulfilled, see opera-
ting instruction!
E233 Data error in the general EPROM-data. If this error mes-
sage is appears often, you must send the device for repair
to Holtkamp.
E234 Data error in the "Statistic menu". Read the menu comple-
tely and check the values!
