Schweißgerät/ welding machine MSA250
FOLLOW ALL MANUFACTURER'S RULES on operating switches and making adjustments.
ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING when welding. This includes: long sleeved shirt
(leather sleeves), protective apron without pockets, long protective pants and boots. When
handing hot materials, wear asbestos gloves.
ALWAYS WEAR A WELDER'S HELMET WITH PROTECTIVE EYE PIECE when welding. Arcs
may cause blindness. Wear a protective cap underneath the helmet.
WHEN WELDING OVERHEAD, BEWARE OF HOT METAL DROPPINGS. Always protect the
head, hand, feet and body.
KEEP A FIRE EXTINGUISHER CLOSE BY AT ALL TIMES.
DO NOT EXCEED THE DUTY CYCLE OF THE MACHINE. The rated cycle of a welding ma-
chine is the percentage of a ten minute period that the machine can operate safely at a
given output setting.
KEEP ALL CHILDREN AWAY FROM WORK AREA. When storing equipment, make sure it is
out of reach of children.
GUARD AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK. DO not work when tired. Do not let body come In
‘contact with grounded surfaces.

Incorrect usage
Operation of the machine that doesn’t agree with this manual is forbidden!
Operation without the safety devices is not allowed.
You mustn’t remove the safety devices!
Incorrect is the usage for materials which aren’t mentioned in this manual.
Changes of the machine’s construction are forbidden.
For another usage and resulting damages or injuries HOLZMANN MASCHINEN
doesn’t assume any responsibility or guarantees.

Safety instructions
Warning labels and/or other labels on the machine must be replaced when they were removed.
Do not operate the machine at insufficient lighting conditions.
Do not operate the machine outdoors.
Do not operate the machine when you are tired, when your concentration is
impaired, and/ or under the influence of drugs, medication or alcohol.
The machine shall be used only by trained persons.
Non authorized persons, especially children, shall be kept away from the
work area.
Do not wear loose clothing, long hair openly or loose jewellery like neck-
laces etc. when operating the machine
They might be catched by rotating parts and cause serious injuries.
