2.8 Safety aspects in dealing with application 

of tools

Please observe the following:

1. Use only dust bags which are not damaged.

2. Use only original metal strength-dust bags.

3. Exchange damaged dust bags immediately. Until re

-

placement of the dust bag the use of the machine is 
prohibited.

4. Always use new dust bags

2.9 Safety to operation

Please observe the following:

 

1. Do not overload the Chip Extraction Unit. It works bet

-

ter and safer in the specified performance range. 
Don´t use the Extraction Unit for operation a stronger 
machine is required for.

2. Check the stability of the machine.

3. Please note, that the use of different tools not recom

-

mended by the manufacturer may cause danger of in

-

jury for the operator.

4. Do not allow any tools to be inserted. Check that all 

tools are removed before starting the machine.

5. This machine is not suitable for aspiration of dange

-

rous dust.

6. If necessary, wear suitable personal protective equip

-

ment. This could be: Hearing protection to avoid the 
risk to damage hearing; breathing protection to avoid 
the risk of breathing dangerous dust.

7. Take care that the aspiration system cannot be started 

during servicing work and changement of dust bag.

8. Never touch the machine during operation.

9. Provide for good illumination.

10. To avoid contact with the blower wheel, unused 

exhaust connections must always be covered.

11. While working outside good footwear is recommen

-

ded.

12. Keep the working area free of rubbish.

13. All protective devices must be mounted immediately 

after servicing.

2.10  Safety aspects on servicing and main-

tenance

1. After servicing, repair and cleaning please check 

whether all protective devices are mounted properly 
again, and no more tools are left inside the machine.

2. Damaged safety devices, machine parts and counters 

must be exchanged in accordance with the require

-

ments by an approved professional workshop.

3. Repairing work at electric power tools must be carried 

out only by an electric expert. Only original spare parts 
may be used. Otherwise there is danger of accident 
for the operator.

2.11  Security check

Check the Chip Extraction Unit regularly.

Check all security devices

- before start working,

- once weekly (at continuous operation),

- after every servicing and repair.

ATTENTION!

-  Use the machine only for designated operational.

-  Don't use the machine for operation which it is not 

made for.

Breathing protection

A dust protection mask (filter mask with particle filter) 
is to be worn during the changement and emptying of 
the dust bag.

WARNING!

At servicing and repair work always switch off the 
machine at the main switch and protect it against a 
start.
