Attaching the fan to the electrical box

Hanging the fan

Carefully lift the fan motor assembly (G) up to the mounting
bracket (B).

WARNING:
The hook as shown is only to balance the
fan while attaching wiring. Failure to hang as shown
may result in hook breaking, causing the fan to fall.
The hook must pass from inside to the outside of the
canopy.

Pass the 120-Volt supply wires through the center hole in the
mounting bracket (B).

Securely tighten the two outlet box screws.
Install the ceiling mounting bracket (B) on the outlet box using the
two mounting screws provided with the outlet box. If necessary
use leveling washers (not included) between the mounting
bracket (B) and outlet box.
Note that the flat side of the mouting bracket (B) is toward the
outlet box. It is important that the mounting bracket be level.

If using flushmount, hang the fan on the hook provide by
utilizing one of the holes at the outer rim of the ceiling
canopy (C).
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock
or personal injury, mount to outlet box marked
“acceptable for fan support of 35 lbs. (15.9Kg)
or less” and use screws provided with the outlet box.
