B
□
Gently push a foot pad (BB) into the hole in the
bottom of a bracket (AA).
□
Slide the bracket (AA) onto the top of the same joint
between the two glass panels. The foot pad (BB)
should face up.
□
Align the high edge of the bracket with the edge of
the glass panels, positioning the foot pad slightly
above the edge of the panels.
□
Gently tighten the bracket set screws, but do not fully
tighten.
3
Completing the wind guard
BB
□
Follow steps 1 and 2 to install the third and fourth
glass panels (A and B).
□
When the rectangular shape is complete, adjust the
glass panels and brackets as necessary to form 90
degree angles.
□
Check that all the footed brackets (AA) are oriented
facing up and the foot pads (BB) extend beyond the
top edge of the glass panels. Adjust as necessary.
□
Once all pieces are correctly adjusted, snugly tighten
all bracket set-screws. Be careful not to overtighten.
□
With assistance, carefully turn the assembled wind
guard upright and place on the foot pads.
□
The wind guard is ready to put in place on the fire pit
table.

Care and Cleaning
WARNING:
CAUTION:
□
Be aware that the glass and hardware may become warm or hot after
prolonged operation of the fire pit. Take reasonable precautions to avoid burns.
□
Do not allow the wind guard to become wet while hot. Turn off the fire pit or
remove the wind guard in case of rain during operation. Sudden contact with
moisture with heated glass can cause glass to crack.
□
When the wind guard is completely cool, it may be cleaned with a soft lint-free
cloth or paper towel and standard glass cleaner. Do not attempt to clean while
hot or while the fire pit burner is in operation.
□
Do not allow children to assemble, move, clean, or maintain the glass
wind guard.
□
Use reasonable precautions to avoid cuts and injuries when working with
glass.
□
Store the wind guard in a safe place during poor weather or when not in
regular use.
