CLEANING AND CARE, TECHNICAL DATA
• Prior to cleaning, pull the power plug (9) out of the power outlet. Wait until the device has completely cooled
off. After the device has cooled down, disconnect the thermostat from the socket (7).
• So it does not get damaged, never use solvents and abrasives, nylon or metal brushes and metal or sharp
objects to clean the non-stick coated heating surface.
• Never submerge the device into water or other liquids. Make sure that no water gets inside the device during
cleaning.
• Only wipe off the pan’s exterior with a damp cloth. Make sure that no liquids, oil or fat get inside the contacts
or inside the interior of the pan itself.
Heating surface
• Wipe off the heating surface (12) with paper towel or with a soft, damp cloth. Should some food remains be
difficult to remove, add a little cooking oil to the heating surface and remove the food remains after letting
the oil soak in for approx. 5 minutes.
• Dry off the heating surface (12) thoroughly before you use it again.
Lid
• Clean the glass lid (5) with a damp sponge and a little dishwashing liquid.
Thermostat
• Only clean the thermostat with a soft paper towel or a dry, soft towel.

Caution:
Never clean the thermostat with a damp cloth or with water. Otherwise it could lead to a fire or
electric shock.
