LOCK Button
When used alone, this button locks the
doors and the tailgate, and flashes the
parking lights once.

Note:
If the lock button is pressed for a second
time (within 5 seconds of the first push) the
horn will beep once and parking lights will
flash once to confirm the doors and the
tailgate are locked.

• The doors and the tailgate cannot be locked or unlocked with the remote control

transmitter when the key is in the ignition switch.

• The doors and the tailgate cannot be locked if any one of the doors or the tailgate is

open.  But even if the hatch glass is opened, the doors and the tailgate can be locked.

• The panic mode will not work when the ignition switch is turned ON.

UNLOCK Button
This button unlocks the door(s) and the
tailgate.
When this button is pressed once, only the
driver side door will unlock and the parking
lights will flash twice. Pressing the button
again, within 30 seconds, will unlock all the
doors and the tailgate, and flash the
parking lights twice.
The interior light illuminates for 30 seconds
when the interior light switch is set to the
center position.

Note:
After unlocking the door(s) and the tailgate,
the system will relock (with no "beep") in 30
seconds when any of the doors or the
tailgate is not opened, the ignition switch is
not turned ON, the SILCON switch (LOCK)
on the driver’s side is not turned ON, or the
remote control switch (LOCK or UNLOCK)
on the driver’s side is not turned ON.
