Do not overreach

Keep proper footing and balance at all time

. This enables best control of the drill in

unexpected situations.

The engine and the exhaust became very hot during operation. Keep the engine at least 1 metre (3 feet)
away from building and other equipment during operation. Keep flammable materials away and do not
place anything on the engine while it is running.

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.

Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from

moving parts.

Loose clothe, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are
connected and properly used.

Use of dust collection can reduce dust related hazards.

Always use the auxiliary handle supplied with the machine. Loose of control can cause personal injury.

Do not smoke while using the drill or refueling the tank.

The operator is responsible for any and all injury and damage caused to third parties within the machine’s
radium of operation.

3-

Drill use and care

Do not force the drill. Use the correct drill for your application.

Do not overheat the impact mechanism; during work carry out cooling cycles, otherwise the timing belt
could deteriorate and break (replacement of the timing belt is not covered by warranty).

Store idle drill out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the drill or this
instruction to operate it.

Maintain drill; check for misaligned or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition
that may affect the drill operation. If damaged, have the drill repaired before use.

 Main accidents are caused

by poorly maintained drill.

Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.

Properly maintained cutting tool with sharp cutting edges are less likely

to bind and are easier to control. Keep tools sharp and clean. Follow instruction for lubricating and changing
accessories. Keep handle dry, clean and free from oil and grease.

Do not try to cool off heated parts using water: some parts could break off.

Only use suitable fuel.

Always wait until the machine has come to a complete stop before placing it down. The tool insert can jam
and lead to loss of control over the drill.

Do not cover any engine part during use.

Safety devices or damaged parts must be repaired or replaced by trained personnel in an authorized service
centre.

Do not try to disassemble or repair the drill by oneself in order to avoid a loss of warranty.

Do not throw the drill away in the environment.
